Everybody saw something. One player edited the story. Rebuild three incidents, expose The Editor, and become the match champion.


The Android TV or Windows app hosts the room, shows the public case board, and never reveals anyone’s private role.

Each phone reveals an Investigator clue or The Editor’s altered evidence. Memorize it, then put the phone down.

The game happens around the table. Players discuss from memory and collaboratively arrange all six public events.

Vote privately for The Editor. The TV reveals the role, official timeline, votes, and score. After three different cases, the highest scorer becomes the match champion.
Each match uses three different cases from the 20-case Friday Files library. Played cases are marked and skipped until the next match.
Scores carry across all three cases. The TV celebrates the highest scorer, including joint champions when the lead is tied.
Launch Fantest Party on Android TV, Google TV, or a Windows PC connected to the display.
Every player uses Fantest Join as a private controller.
Keep the TV and every phone on the same Wi-Fi or hotspot.
The TV shows a QR code and a four-character room code.
Scan the QR or enter the room code in Fantest Join.
The first connected phone becomes Leader and controls the round.
Friday Files supports 4–10 active players.
Everyone confirms Ready before the case can begin.
The Leader chooses one of 20 fictional bilingual cases.
The TV introduces the public incident without revealing secrets.
Most players are Investigators; one player is The Editor.
Read the private clues shown only on your phone.
Tap Memorized when you understand your evidence.
Put phones down and never show your private file.
The Leader starts the timed table investigation.
Share, paraphrase, hide details, or challenge another story.
The Editor tries to make false evidence sound believable.
Players move the shared event cards into chronological order.
The Leader locks the group’s final sequence.
Each player gets one last chance to defend or accuse.
The Leader opens the final vote on every phone.
Choose the player you believe manipulated the story.
The TV reveals The Editor, the true order, every result, and the updated match score.
Compare the submitted timeline with the official six events.
Investigators score for solving and identifying; The Editor scores for escaping. Scores continue across three cases.
Keep the room and players. The game rotates to an unplayed case, then crowns the champion after case three.
Place at least five of six events correctly and expose The Editor.
Corrupt the timeline, redirect the vote, or remain unidentified.
